Margot Volk, VMD

Dr. Margot Volk was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. After attending college at the University of Puerto Rico, she completed veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. She started her veterinary career at the Columbia Animal Hospital and then joined her husband at Lutherville Animal Hospital in 1986. Her primary interest is surgery of any type, both soft tissue and orthopedic, in dogs, cats, and various exotic species. Besides traditional surgical equipment, Dr. Volk also utilizes a surgical laser and endoscopes.

Dr. Margot has five sisters and two sons. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys long distance running and spending times with their two dogs, two cats, and their cockatiel.
